Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy is based on the principles of learning and behavior. Our ABA therapists in Charleston, SC work one on one with each patient to decrease their problem behaviors while simultaneously increasing their language and learning behaviors. Several different goals are targeted during each session including communication, social skills, self care, play, leisure, and motor skills.

Samantha was born and raised in Charleston, SC. She received her Masters of Education with a major in Counseling from The Citadel Graduate College. Samantha is an Army veteran who was introduced to Applied Behavior Analysis in 2016, and obtained her board certification in Behavior Analysis in 2021. Her favorite aspect of Applied Behavior Analysis is the development and understanding of communication as well as how it helps to reduce a majority of problem behaviors. Outside of work Samantha enjoys spending time with her partner, their animals, and traveling to new places.

Octavia is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). She has been providing behavior analytic services to clinic-based and home-based clients ages 3 to 12 for many years. Octavia earned a master of science degree in behavior analysis from Capella University. Octavia exudes compassion within her treatments, along with spreading ethical and effective treatments founded on the science of Applied Behavior Analysis.

Octavia grew up in Cluj, Romania, and moved to the US in 2003. Octavia currently lives in Ladson with her husband, son, and dog. Outside work, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her friends and family, cooking, Netflix, and yoga.

MARISSA M.

Marissa grew up in Gallatin, Tennessee and recently moved to the Charleston area. She worked in the public school system for 13 years. During her tenure in the public school system, she worked in a therapeutic crisis intervention setting. She later was promoted to a Behavior and Autism Support Trainer and received her RBT. She currently resides in Ladson with her 2 sons, her partner and their dog. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, fishing and spending time with family.
