Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy is based on the principles of learning and behavior. Our ABA therapists in Charleston, SC work one on one with each patient to decrease their problem behaviors while simultaneously increasing their language and learning behaviors. Several different goals are targeted during each session including communication, social skills, self care, play, leisure, and motor skills.

Danielle is originally from Mansfield, Massachusetts. She relocated to the Charleston area in 2014 to attend the College of Charleston. Danielle majored in Psychology with a focus on adolescent and child development. She has experience working with kids between the ages of 2 and 16. After receiving her Bachelors degree, Danielle completed her RBT certification and did in home ABA therapy with children with autism. In addition Danielle also administered training sessions for entry level RBTs and assisted in hiring processes. Danielle joined the CPR team in August 2018, and is excited to work in an interdisciplinary environment.

Jenna Cornwall grew up in Connecticut but is looking forward to learning all about living in South Carolina. She went to school in Upstate New York, majoring in Cognitive Neuroscience and minoring in Spanish. She has always had an interest in ASD and related disorders, therefore after completing her Bachelor's Degree, she moved to the Boston area and began her career in ABA at the New England Center for Children. She discovered a passion for the field there and wanted to do more, so she decided to pursue her Master's in ABA. While working on her Master's she moved back to Connecticut and worked in both the home and public school settings. Jenna completed her Master's Degree at The Sage Colleges in late 2017, and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in 2018. She has experience working with children and adolescents diagnosed with ASD, ADHD, Traumatic Brain Injuries, and other behavioral challenges. She is really looking forward to joining the team at the clinic!

In her free time she enjoys being active outdoors, taking her dog for walks, and spending time with her family and friends. She is also looking forward to enjoying the sunny weather and hanging out at the beach!

Julia is originally from Rockville, Maryland, a suburb of Washington, DC. She received her Bachelor's degree with a major in Psychology and a minor in Italian Studies from Auburn University in 2014. After graduating from Auburn, Julia began BCaBA classes while working for a local behavioral consulting agency in the Auburn, Alabama area. She honed her ABA skills in the Alabama public school system and also serviced children in-home and in clinic settings. She has experience working with children with autism, ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, and other behavioral difficulties.

Julia found her passion for ABA accidentally as an undergraduate practicum student at Auburn. She enrolled in an off-campus practicum course at a local Early Intervention preschool where she worked directly with children with autism and their case managers. She's been hooked ever since and has been practicing ABA since 2012. Julia loves developing relationships with the children and families she services and getting to witness the amazing progress children make. Julia moved to the Charleston area in July 2017 to be closer to the beach, seafood, and her family in Maryland.

Kelly L. Bailey has worked with children and adolescents with autism and other
developmental disabilities and delays since 2004. Kelly loves working with all children, and has cultivated a special passion for children with autism. Her interest in children with autism began while she studied psychology and education as an undergraduate at Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky. She began her speech-language career at Vanderbilt Medical School in 2006. Kelly focused her studies and practicum experiences on autism and feeding disorders. She obtained her masters in Applied Behavior Analysis in late 2011 and her BCBA certification in early 2012. She enjoys working as both an SLP and BCBA, and finds the two fields extremely complimentary. She has earned two ACE awards from ASHA (American Speech-Language Hearing Association) representing three-year periods of outstanding commitment to exceeding continuing education requirements and certifications in various intervention methodologies. Interventions that Kelly has specialized in include the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) and other AAC methodologies, Oral Placement Training/Talk Tools, Feeding Disorders, Behavioral Sleep disorders, Verbal Behavior, and Functional Communication Training. Kelly, her husband, and young daughter enjoy time at the beach, fishing, visits back to their home state of Kentucky, and rooting for University of Kentucky basketball.

Samantha was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina. She received her Bachelors of Arts with a major in Psychology from Argosy University. Samantha is an Army veteran who was introduced to Applied Behavior Analysis while obtaining her Masters in Counselor Education at The Citadel Graduate College. She obtained her Registered Behavioral Analyst(RBT) license while getting her Masters degree, and has been working in the field since 2017. Samantha is currently becoming a Board-Certified Behavior Analysis (BCBA), and looks forward to continuing her career in Applied Behavior Analysis.

Anna is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. She graduated from Miami University in 2017 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Social Work. Anna has a focus in pediatric mental health and has extensive experience working with children with ODD, PTSD, a history of trauma and abuse, ADHD, and Autism. Anna worked as a Therapeutic Group Leader at The Children's Home of Cincinnati for one year before moving to Charleston. Anna has been a part of the Charleston Pediatric Rehabilitation family since November of 2018, and is excited to see what the future holds at this amazing company!
